Welcome to the NEW Reno 300 pylon racing website. 2007 sees thert of a whole new class of pylon racing. These Fun Fighter size models have created a lot of interest in the modelling world with last years ‘test’ season seeing entries of up to 20 pilots.

This site is designed to keep all those interested up to date with contest dates, venues and any new developments in this new pylon class.

 

It will be updated regularly with information, pictures and the latest developments.

 

For anyone interested who has never raced before see the CONTACTS page for useful telephone numbers etc. All will be willing to speak to you and answer any questions you may have.

 

Last year saw up to 16 new competitors who became instantly hooked on this simple, fun, exciting pylon class.

 

If you are new and you just want to come along and watch or compete an experienced member will be happy ‘take you by the hand’ at any of the race days.

 

All pilots will have to be a member of SARA (Sport 40 Air Racing Association) with an annual fee of £15.00. New members are welcome to come along to their first meeting without being a member but, after that they must join SARA.

All pilots will need to show proof of BMFA Insurance.
